Examination and Promotion Policy

Our examination and promotion policy ensures fairness, transparency, and holistic assessment in alignment with CBSE norms.

1 Progress Communication The student's progress is communicated to parents periodically through the Progress Record, which includes reports on conduct and attendance.
2 Promotion Criteria Promotion to the next class is based on the grades obtained in assessments throughout the year. Co-curricular achievements are also considered.
Results declared at the end of the academic year are final. The Principal’s decision shall be final and binding.
3 Examination Conduct Any misconduct or malpractice during examinations will lead to disqualification from the entire exam.
Students with outstanding fees or medical unfitness will not be permitted to appear for exams.
Attendance during term-end exams, including practicals, is mandatory.
4 Absence and Re-examination Absence during terminal exams for reasons other than certified illness will disqualify the student from consolidated results and ranking.
Re-examinations will not be conducted. Promotions for deserving students will be based on overall performance and completed assessments.
5 Grading System In compliance with CBSE norms, from Nursery to Std X, results will reflect only grades and not marks. Parents are requested not to demand mark statements.
6 Senior Secondary Evaluation Students in Std XI failing to clear more than two subjects will be declared failed and issued a School Leaving Certificate.
7 Attendance Requirement A minimum of 75% attendance of total working days in each term/assessment is mandatory to qualify for examinations and promotions.
